Here’s the recipe: - prepare garlic, shallots, kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass (idk how much use feeling but the more the merrier!) - some birds eye chilli if you’re feeling adventurous - 1 tomato per serving but remove the watery core so you don’t end up with soggy fried rice - some form of protein, usually shrimp but chicken/pork will do too - 1 scrambled egg per serving - 1 portion day old rice per serving - for the sauce: get store bought tom yum paste, this is usually quite sour so balance it with some soy sauce and (palm) sugar. the ratio I roughly used for this is 2 tsp paste, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sugar. This made 2 servings - cook egg and protein separately first, then in goes aromatics, add egg/protein back in, rice, and sauce - garnish with cilantro, cucumber, and fried egg enjoy!!!!! #cooking #Recipe #friedrice #asianfood #thaifood
